wpeA.jpg (23709 bytes)Today’s safety conscious drivers are purchasing vehicles with advanced braking systems in record numbers. Before these newer electronic systems were widely used, most automotive technicians could confidently overhaul braking systems. TABS aims to restore technician confidence through focusing on the essentials for servicing the complete brake system. Areas covered in this course include disc and drum brake theory, hydraulic systems and power assist units. Specific types of Anti-lock brake systems (ABS) such as Bosch, Teves, and Kelsey-Hayes are described in detail. Technicians who complete TABS are more prepared to effectively service ABS units through hands-on training.
